Without You I am an Incomplete Man in Need of Wholeness

Darling Esme,

I have existed for a long time not answering to anyone, dependent on nothing and committed to only myself. During that time, I felt as though the world was mine for the taking and truly believed that I was experiencing life to the fullest. Then, you came along and all of a sudden, I realized that was all a clever facade.

My love, without you I am an incomplete man in search of wholeness. I find that my existence was not all that I thought it was. In fact,…

Being a mother

Never in my entire existence up until now did I ever think that I would change the day I become a mother...  almost 3 years ago my first daughter was born and now my second is almost 6 months old and boy has time changed!

I think though even though my children are biologically mine, I can most certainly see how mothers such as Sue Clearwater, Esme and Bella  Cullen and Sulphicia and Athena Volturi can feel the way they do about their "children".  Being a mother makes you see…

Thankful for Life

I am thankful for so many things, starting with life, it's most precious gift of all, without it I would not have the most wonderful and perfect people in the world to share it with, My wonderful husband Sam Uley and my wonderful amazing little princess Ayasha.

I am thankful for love ,because without it Sam and I would not be as happy as we are and would not have our precious Ayasha in our lives, some say that we are together because of the imprint, that it's the reason we are bound…

Journal entry: 2/20/2011

It was January 25, 2011, just an ordinary day in Egypt and Cairo is a maze of people.  Not that it isn't normally a hive of activity but the feeling is different   Something momentous is going on and I am curious to find out, I follow the mob of people towards Tahrir Square.

Tahrir Square means Liberation Square.  It is a major public…

Thankful Musings

With the impending holiday season upon us and the re-arrival of my dearest brother, Alec to the castle, I felt that I am obligated to express the many things that I am thankful for.  I find it only fitting since Thanksgiving is near.  Many individuals may be curious as to what exactly someone like me could be thankful for.  Now is your chance to get that question answered!

First and foremost, I am thankful for my brother, Alec.  He has returned to the castle after being gone…

All Hallows Eve

Vlad has always been a prankster. He's not always stealthy about it but he's fast. All Hallows Eve is celebrated with lights, parties and festivities all over Romania. The people still fear superstitions that revolve around Vlad the Impaler. Parties erupt all around Bucharest. Costumed people dance in the streets, gambling, sex and crime is at a peak during this week. The festivities are meant to ward off evil spirits but little do they know that it only attracts us more. Being what we are,…

Past meets Present?

Some traditions from the past I read about talk about how on Halloween night the veil between the world of the dead and our world is at it’s thinnest of the year. Those traditions say that on all hollow’s eve (the traditional name for Halloween in that religion), one should…

My Halloween Fright.

I have never been a fan of horror films something that my family and friends are well aware of. It has been a yearly tradition for some time now, for myself and Liseli to go into lockdown so to speak on Halloween. After the majority of trick-or-treaters have made the rounds we seek refuge at either's house and relax with a glass of wine a bowl of popcorn. Of course we also like to watch what we would consider to be an entertaining Halloween movie. Of late our yearly tradition has included…

An Unlikely Destiny

I nestle myself more securely in the russet brown fur, holding on for dear life while glancing behind us. I can see them in the distance. Slowly nearing us the black cloaks giving them the appearance of levitation. Although it would not surprise me, if Aro somehow collected such a rare gift. My eyes are burning not only from the wind as I can feel us trying to gain some speed. But from the tears that keeps falling down my cheek. Everything I knew, the life I have learned to love up to now,…

Only Love

Singing a song I wrote called "Only Love" I wrote it about my late husband the year after he dead. Going back and forward to court. I grow very sad living with the royals and my family I didn't feel welcome at times. I was a waste and a nothing to my father as so he told me at time after . "I should have let you die like your twin Mary".

I think I met my match again

Journal entry: 10/31/11 - The First Time I Saw Dracula

Looking back over the years that I have traveled around the world and back home to my beloved Cairo.  I remember vividly of a time we had traveled through the United States for a short time and had stopped in this little town in the center of Texas.  There was really nothing special about this town but it was quiet and everyone seemed to know everyone.  We were intrigued at the similarity of people from this town and the people we knew growing up in Egypt, so many years ago.…

A Real Ghost Ship!

Every now and then, I like to indulge and depart on my own personal vacations.  Since I really have not seen #Alec in a very long time, it is, admittedly, easier to plan for my vacations when I'm going alone.  I had heard about a place in the States called Long Beach, California.  How it was so pleasant and with beaches that stretched on forever.  I wanted to experience it for myself.  I thought it'd be nice to take nightly strolls along the beach, barefoot.

Upon arriving in…

Once upon a time in the land of hush-a-bye....

Once upon a time in the land of hush-a-bye....

No, that's really not how it all started but it did start once upon a time, long, long ago. A boy was born to a land baron and his wife. That boy grew up a carefree life, playing and studying all over Europe until one day he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or perhaps he was exactly where he was destined to be.

I cannot speculate what happened as my memory of that time has long faded to black. I don't really…
