An Interactive Twilight Experience.
Quil took me to trick-or-treat around Forks and then we went back to the rec center for the party. It was so fun to see Aerie dressed up as a cute porcupine from SING. That kid loves to sing, I think she started singing before she even started talking!
I dressed up as Moana. I know.. I know.. but I just LOVE Disney movies and come on, Moana represents the Pacific Islanders and well, I might not be a Tropical Pacific Islander.. I'm still a Pacific girl so it worked for me! Quil…Continue

The Pacific Northwest is rather mild as far as extreme temperatures go. We do, however, get quite a lot of precipitation and the autumn season is more dreary than the rest of the year. This makes Autumn and Winter some of my favorite months. We tend to spend a lot more time together outdoors now. It's a given really as the weather cooperates with our particular needs.
Hiking throughout the region is our family's favorite bonding activity. I've recently started a new hobby. Photography…Continue

Have you ever taken a moment to really focus on if you are listening with intention or if you are simply hearing? Are you truly present for all that there is to learn and take in or are you simply taking in sheer noise that will evaporate after mere moments?
That is the beauty of being clairvoyant. There are clues and lessons in each beat to take in and turn into a path. It has trained me to not just hear but truly listen with the intention of learning all the meaning of what…Continue

Picture this..you are standing on the edge of a cliff. Taking in the view around you in a breathtaking panorama. The dark clouds rolling in around you, shading in the forestry and cliffsides. The waves below you crashing violently in a warning to keep your distance.
You look out, knowing that danger is below you but safety will not stay with you up on the steep earth for long.
“Where is she?” I close my eyes, focusing as a blur of bright crimson red hair…Continue

Looking around, this seems like it would be the last place in the world anyone would want to be. Standing from the side of the road, hidden behind a cluster of trees I take in the sleepy town of Forks. It has been exactly five minutes and forty-two seconds since the last car went by. My visions, generally quiet from the hustle and bustle of imagery brought on by Chicago and Biloxi. Heck, I thought Biloxi was slow but you would think Biloxi was Times Square compared to…Continue

I'm getting ready and packing for Camp Kirby! I will be there from July 9th till the 15th. Quil is acting weird and grumpy because I'm going to be away for a few days, I kinda get it though. I will miss him too! I think he's going to be hanging out near by, if I'm honest!
Last week we went on the Camp Kirby website and I picked some activities to do. I want…Continue

What a great time we had this weekend and even though I have school tomorrow, I'm still loving this day!
Today Quil and I made these for dessert! Mom and Connie made burgers on the grill and we had corn on the cob, a really yummy salad and then Quil and I made these awesome Watermelon Cupcakes for dessert!
I love cookouts! They are so fun and…Continue

First, we have today and tomorrow and Monday off from school. A long weekend which is great. Only reason I have off is because the older kids have some testing they're doing and they are all using our school. I'm fine with that!
Alice picked me up really early and we went to Port Angeles! Get this.. I got the yummiest hot chocolate I have ever had! It had little pink and white marshmallows and a sprinkle of sweet cocoa powder on top. So YUMMY! If you go there, you gotta get…Continue

Today is another dry day, the weekend was real nice and we got quite a lot done on the roof.
Last week a branch fell on the roof over Aerie's room. Nothing like going into a toddler's room at 3 am to find her jumping on her bed singing, "It's raining it's pouring!" and have that be the actual case.
It really WAS raining in her room. Needless to say, we were up at 3am for the day. I called Jake and he came over and tossed a tarp up on the roof till daylight. He climbed up…

June 14th is my last day of seventh grade! This summer is going to be so fun. We're going camping a lot, fishing with Uncle Billy and I get to play with Aerie too! She's so cute. She will turn 3 in July and I think Uncle Billy was talking about a big birthday party. I love parties. Maybe I can help!
Im having tons of sleep-overs with Shay too! I can't wait! So I'm really excited and so ready for summer vacation. HURRY UP JUNE 14th!
Ok well I gotta go get ready for school and…Continue

...the flowers do their courtship dances to entice the bees. The bees oblige, mesmerized and completely captivated by the flower's stunning, colourful display. The grapevines have bright green leaves, still in their infancy, facing the sun and taking in all of it's warmth. Springtime has arrived, fully, in Volterra.
My favourite times are the moments Caius and I share, slowly walking between the rows of grapevines hands…Continue

I had a doctor's appointment this morning so I'm going to be going to school a little late. One good thing is that my mom said we could stop and get coffee and hot chocolate after the appointment so that makes it kind of ok. I had to get a shot today. I don't even know what it's for, something that the school makes us get and so yeah, my mom got a notice that I didn't have it so if I didn't get it by today, I wasn't allowed to go to school. I hate shots, everyone does, but I didn't cry or…Continue

I love Springtime here in Romania. The flowers and fresh scent of newness is invigorating and stimulating. I have been sitting idle for months as my gallery continues it's success. I've hired a curator and someone to also manage the gallery as a whole. We're gearing up for our first exhibition of the 2017 year and I cannot be happier with how things are going.
As I sit here at home on the back patio and gaze across our property, my senses are completely filled with colour, fragrance,…Continue

Lately I've been looking through my various keepsakes from my mortal life. Each item is weathered as you would expect, but thats what makes them more valuable to me. Each item tells a story. Could I sit and explain each story? Probably not, but they are reminders that I was once mortal. Some of the items remind me of the fact that I once bled and felt physical pain as mortals do. I keep them to help me stay grounded and retain…Continue
