Miracles happen each and every day.
We tend to focus on the larger miracles or the ones that are almost impossible not to notice. While there is no denying that large miracles are incredible and memorable, while we are only training our mind to notice the big happenings, we so often miss out on the smaller every day miracles.
To notice and appreciate small miracles, you almost have to re-train your mind to be still and train your eyes to open for small murmurs…Continue

Before my time with Alice, I didn't really have anything you'd call a hobby. Nothing that really interested me. I had some skills when it came to music, but nothing like that of Edward when he learned to play the piano. I had very little I needed before. Though when one finds themselves with so much time on their hands they start picking up hobbies so to speak. Alice and I both have a fondness for Jazz music, and the blues. They do tend to go hand in hand. So I found it only natural to…Continue
One of the most stressful things as an adult is the ability to have fun with your life. The once youthful feeling of carefree imagination eventually gets replaced with the heavy weight of responsibilities and obligation.
While no one can escape the reality of responsibilities, it is high time we reminded ourselves that in prioritizing having fun amongst a sea of obligation is essential to living a good life.
When most think of “having fun”, they tend to think…Continue

Last night, celebrities and socialites paraded in New York City as they attended the Met Gala. The theme this year was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”.
Romantic, rich, heavy fabrics paying homage to church and the renaissance art that encapsulates it. …Continue

I thought I would magically wake up on my birthday feeling older. Turns out, I feel the same, look the same, wear the same size clothes. I measured myself against my closet door and I see that I didn't really grow much since last year either. I guess I'm going to be about 5' 4"…Continue
I think the biggest question I get from people once they know I am clairvoyant is, “What happens next for me?”
It is only natural to be focused on what is to come of us. I even find myself sometimes all too curious as to what my future holds. Over time I have learned that the present is…Continue
Yay for Spring break! I totally am so done with algebra! I had a test today and I did ok on it but I am really tired of studying! I'm glad we have the next week off. Mom and Connie and I are going to do some spring cleaning and then go into Port Angeles for some spring clothes shopping! I am looking forward to getting a new dress or two.
Quil and I have been doing a lot of hiking lately. Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful and I can't wait! Hiking has become one of my favorite…Continue

The New Year is a time of a new blank page yet to be written on. The beginning of a brand new year is a time to honor your past, live in your present and anticipate your future.
Honor the past. What did you experience over the past year? Celebrations, set backs, happiness and disappointments. What did you learn? How did you grow?
Live in your present. What are you grateful for? Are you satisfied with who and where you are? If yes, bask in it. If no, take this opportunity to…Continue

Christmastime in Romania is a magical experience. Much has changed since the old days but at the same time, much has remained the same. The…Continue
We don't really do Christmas like everyone else. It's more of a day to just kinda hang out with family, eat really good food and exchange a few presents with close family. We don't have a Christmas tree or anything like that but I always put up some sparkly lights in my room. I'm weird, I love Christmas music so I always have them playing in my room too. I think we all like Christmas time. People seem to be more friendly and aware of each other. The rest of the year it seems like people bury…Continue

We kinda do Thanksgiving differently here on the reservation. We do what we call a Harvest Festival. It's really fun! The boys do a cliff diving demonstration, there is a canoe race and a fishing tournament and then the big feast! Connie and I baked a ton of yummy stuff and it went so fast! Cupcakes and pies don't last long around here and neither do Emily's muffins!
Quil didn't win the canoe race and he was SO mad.. Jacob, of course, won AGAIN.. like the 5th year in a row or…Continue

Within every family, we hold a treasure chest of secrets we hold sacred for one another. Sometimes it is as dramatic as well..your entire family is made up of cold immortal vampires but most of the time, it is simple small secrets that you trust one another with to keep.
Perhaps it is a family recipe or a small quirk. Whether your family secrets are big or small, it takes a level of trust and that trust builds your relationship into something astonishingly strong.

Quil took me to trick-or-treat around Forks and then we went back to the rec center for the party. It was so fun to see Aerie dressed up as a cute porcupine from SING. That kid loves to sing, I think she started singing before she even started talking!
I dressed up as Moana. I know.. I know.. but I just LOVE Disney movies and come on, Moana represents the Pacific Islanders and well, I might not be a Tropical Pacific Islander.. I'm still a Pacific girl so it worked for me! Quil…Continue

The Pacific Northwest is rather mild as far as extreme temperatures go. We do, however, get quite a lot of precipitation and the autumn season is more dreary than the rest of the year. This makes Autumn and Winter some of my favorite months. We tend to spend a lot more time together outdoors now. It's a given really as the weather cooperates with our particular needs.
Hiking throughout the region is our family's favorite bonding activity. I've recently started a new hobby. Photography…Continue

Have you ever taken a moment to really focus on if you are listening with intention or if you are simply hearing? Are you truly present for all that there is to learn and take in or are you simply taking in sheer noise that will evaporate after mere moments?
That is the beauty of being clairvoyant. There are clues and lessons in each beat to take in and turn into a path. It has trained me to not just hear but truly listen with the intention of learning all the meaning of what…Continue

Picture this..you are standing on the edge of a cliff. Taking in the view around you in a breathtaking panorama. The dark clouds rolling in around you, shading in the forestry and cliffsides. The waves below you crashing violently in a warning to keep your distance.
You look out, knowing that danger is below you but safety will not stay with you up on the steep earth for long.
“Where is she?” I close my eyes, focusing as a blur of bright crimson red hair…Continue

Looking around, this seems like it would be the last place in the world anyone would want to be. Standing from the side of the road, hidden behind a cluster of trees I take in the sleepy town of Forks. It has been exactly five minutes and forty-two seconds since the last car went by. My visions, generally quiet from the hustle and bustle of imagery brought on by Chicago and Biloxi. Heck, I thought Biloxi was slow but you would think Biloxi was Times Square compared to…Continue
I'm getting ready and packing for Camp Kirby! I will be there from July 9th till the 15th. Quil is acting weird and grumpy because I'm going to be away for a few days, I kinda get it though. I will miss him too! I think he's going to be hanging out near by, if I'm honest!
Last week we went on the Camp Kirby website and I picked some activities to do. I want…Continue
