Aerie is 6.

Those words are both terrifying and miraculous at the same time.

Aerie is SIX years old. SIX. She is a true testament of love, devotion and absolute chaos. She goes from zero to 60 in a flash. She is fast, furious, funny and feral. Today is another dry day, the weekend was real nice and we got quite a lot done on the roof.

Last week a branch fell on the roof over Aerie's room. Nothing like going into a toddler's room at 3 am to find her jumping on her bed singing, "It's raining it's pouring!" and have that be the actual case.
