An Interactive Twilight Experience.
Today is another dry day, the weekend was real nice and we got quite a lot done on the roof.
Last week a branch fell on the roof over Aerie's room. Nothing like going into a toddler's room at 3 am to find her jumping on her bed singing, "It's raining it's pouring!" and have that be the actual case.
It really WAS raining in her room. Needless to say, we were up at 3am for the day. I called Jake and he came over and tossed a tarp up on the roof till daylight. He climbed up there after breakfast and had a good look. He said a branch had broken off and fallen just right and pierced the roof. The branch fell right above Aerie's bed and looks like a finger pointing right at her pillow. Very disturbing.
You can see bits of the pink insulation too. I'm not sure why that didn't scare Aerie because I have to admit.. it would have given me a heart attack. She was jumping on her bed singing It's Raining, It's Pouring.
Jake and Charlie are out there again today finishing up repairs. It's supposed to rain again tomorrow but be nice the rest of the week, I just hope they can finish up today so Aerie can go back and sleep in her OWN BED. Sharing a bed with a 3 year old is like sharing a bed with a bunch of puppies.
Tiff and I are exhausted.
