Third full day without my cat. My husband made me get rid of him, then just took off with him, to who knows where. He's not yet 2, and hasn't been outside since he was a kitten, too little to leave his mama when he appeared on our doorstep. The sweetest and baddest cat ever.. I saved his life, twice. We had a special bond, that my husband just didn't see. He didn't like the cat either. He would not let me take him to the vet, to get fixed or anything.. So to an extent his badness and…

Reflecting on the years that have passed since my transformation I am reminded of regrets this evening. Why do my thoughts travel this way? I opened up one of my favorite books of poetry. The collection of poems is Mountain Interval by Robert Frost.
In my favorite poem “The Road Not Taken”, he writes of two roads both well worn through the years and not recently travelled on. He ponders which road he will choose. He makes his choice and in his later years…

Tia's transformation went very smoothly. I showed her how to hunt and to keep to the shadows.
I admit now I was a little apprehensive in bringing her home to Amun and Kebi. I was unsure how they would react to another member of our group. As well as, I left without letting them know.

~He looks into the face of...~ Emi Kurokawa! He hasn't seen her in years! He thinks"She hasn't changed a bit.Which, after all this time...Is VERY abnormal."He stares at the figure in front of him.Examining her from head to toe he sees her long, black hair still waist lenght. Her silver eyes,as always, containing that startling blue color extending around the black pupil. Her lips muted to an inviting shade of red.Emi's skin tone pale as a winter moon but as delicate as a white lily. He…

After being repeatedly told that I shouldn't go out looking for Tia because The Volturi would be looking for me. I decided that I had waited far to long and was worried about her. Knowing that my uncle was killed while Amun stole me, I didn't know what had happened to Tia and if she was all right or suffering. I couldn't bear it if she was suffering.

A girl.Asleep...Or so the world believes. She's fallen off the road and down the mountain. She's collapsed into her own(What's them emotion?Sadness?No.Depression?Maybe.But it's more. It's hatred!)Hatred. To human-kind.To what she's become.A vampire. She doesn't recall how.Or why,but she is.The girl stands up with a wobbley start, but is able to stand all the same. Her silver-blue eyes look around, taking in her surroundings. She sees tan stems of grass, almost calf height.Green stalks of bamboo. The…

My friend wrote this poem about the Day of Silence. Which was on 4.15.11. This really shows how I feel about the subject. The Day of Silence is one day where LGBT or LGBT Allys are silent. For one whole day you don't speak, for all the people who can't say who they really are or how they really feel because of bullying or discrimination.
Day of Silence
For a day…

(Title inspired from a Men's Journal magazine article title with the same title)
Time marches on as do we, though slower than most, we are not immune to time as most may think.
As we go through the paces, we lose sight of that which was sacred to us... humanity.
Some let it go completely. Perhaps they were misguided as humans and do not want to remember. Some try to hold onto it by keeping their stories written down. We do forget over time.…

From the moment i said,
i love you
you've had my heart.
please take care of it,
its has been broken
and scared.
i want you to be the one,
the one who fixes it,
and never gives it back.
my cheeks are stained
with tears that match,
match the scares on my heart.

It was 9th grade orientation, and I was the most excited I had ever been. I was up at 6:00 AM, washed, dressed, and prepared. I was a dorky teenager, trying to be 'cool'. And mind you, I was only 13.
As I arrived at 9th grade orientation, my excitement bubbled, and the feeling in my stomach assured me of that. I met up with all of my friends at the front of the school, and we all went inside.
The orientation was one of the most exciting days ever, until I…

October 22, 2007. The night my 2nd home burnt down.
I was suddenly awakened to my mother's screaming, and my heart nearly pounding out of my chest. I heard my frantic breathing as the fire alarm began to screech through the halls, making my ears ring. I knew what was going on, but I had to deny it, for my sanity was at stake. I stood up in my pajama's, and grabbed whatever I could from my closet. The smoke began to thicken, and it clouded my lungs. I screamed as I felt the…
