Regret

How often do we say something that we immediately realize was not the right thing to say?

How many times do we look back on an event and think, "if only I had.......
How many times have we done something that we wish hadn't?

We cannot take back what has been said.
We cannot change a past event.
We cannot undo what has been done.

Is this regret, sorrow or repentance?
Do we think about what might have been?
Do we relive, in our minds, an event the way we feel it should have been?

STOP

Forget about regret, and focus.
Focus on today, not on the past.
Focus on what we can do NOW, not what we didn't do THEN.

The only thing we need to regret is living in the past
The only thing to feel sorrow for is not living each day in this time, this moment.
Stand up, apologize and move on. We cannot live our lives regretting yesterday.
Live life so when tomorrow comes, you cannot regret today.
