Hi! I'm Kira, but you can call me Hoppy. It's a stupid nickname that I got after I broke my leg a few years back, and I had to hobble everywhere. Worse came to worse, and the name just sort of stuck.

I live with my gorgeous brother Stuart and my grandparents, they're annoying, but still, I love them. Stuart has autism and finds it hard to communicate, so he'll usually end up hitting someone or something. I love him with all of my heart, and I'm proud to say he just made it on to High School.

I go to a Performing Arts High School, studying Drama and Dance mostly.
I've been doing ballet since I was nine, and I've been doing pointe since two years ago.
It hurts like hell, but it's worth it. I dance all my emotion out, and dancing makes me feel so beautiful and pretty.

If there are two things that I'm extremely passionate about it's finding a cure for leukemia. My best friend Tamara passed away with it last year, and it is truly a selfish and uncaring disease. I miss her with all of my being, but I'm happy knowing that she had so much time to prepare herself with loving people all around her.

I also am passionate about ending Child Labour. You know your Converse and Nike shoes? There's a bit more behind them than just shoes.
For this reason I recently got nominated for Youth Ambassador for 2011 MyCandle and World Vision Australia.
