I have a son.
Embry Michael Call. He weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and was 22 inches long. He arrived at 3:36 a.m. on March 25th after 12 hours of labor. Hard labor.

I can’t remember the last time I took Mother’s Day off from the hospital. With Embry pretty much grown enough to take care of himself by the time I started there, and my own mother gone, I chose to work and give other mother’s with younger children at home the day to celebrate. Not that Embry and I didn’t celebrate; we just did it the day before or the day after. Honestly, for me, any day with Embry was a celebration of being a mother.

You have, no doubt, heard the term, 'Expectant Father' am I right?
I don't recall feeling like this with the twins or Jacob though I am certain that I did.
I wake every morning expecting to be alone. Everything is so perfect I feel as if I'm dreaming but Tiffany is right beside me. Snuggling up against her and holding her close as she sleeps is the bliss that I have been waiting for for years.
