Suceava district of Romania is known for it's touristic value and potential. This is pleasing for myself and Vladimir as we can safely hunt and go about our existence with little threat to being discovered. Within a short distance from the mansion, one can find the famous Romanian monastaries of Sucevita, Varatec, Agapia. The region is known also for its forests which cover 40% of its surface.

The Romanian Government has declared the "Suceava district an area of national interest which will benefit from substantial investments for its development." We have considered opening an art gallery near by which also will house Vladimir's wine cellar. It proves to be quite a good area for such things due to the touristic pull.The area is under a state of growth and an important objective is the modernization of the Salcea airport situated at 15 Km from Suceava. In the near future the airport will become an international airport which will serve this part of the country and boost the economy into a hustle, bustle tourist community.

The mansion has two levels and an attic with more than 1,000 square meters of built surface. Each level has 17 rooms which makes a total of 34 rooms plus the attic. This is plenty of room for out of town guests as well as my art and Vladimir's wine.  Our home is located at 12 Km from the center of Suceava and at 300m from the main highway which leads from Suceava to Botosani. We are literally right off the beaten path. The mansion is surrounded by a terrain of 48782 square meters containing lots of forest and a large orchard. The mansion was built circa 1900 by Prince Cantacuzino-Pascanu a descendent of the Cantacuzino imperial family of Byzantium.
Though it houses royalty no longer, we will upgrade things and get it back to where it needs to be. It proves to be quite an time consuming and pleasing project.
We hope to get renovations started as soon as possible.
