Vampires have incredibly heightened senses. With that comes the immense pleasure that we get when using them.Vladimir collects fine wine and I collect art. It makes for a very compatible existence. Though it is part of my livelihood it is also aesthetically pleasing and gives me great pleasure. I have a vast collection of fine art that I have amassed while on the move. 

Because of the Volturi, Vladimir and I have traveled the world several times over. Each place we travel I find a piece of art that reflects the local culture and artistry of that region. I find it keeps me eager to find new places rather than constantly cursing the Volturi for keeping us on the move. It keeps things fresh and new for me. I have existed well over 2000 years and you can well imagine that things can get a might bit stale now and then. I love art from all periods but my passion is ancient art. I love it because the mediums that the artists used were all derived from nature; nothing artificial or synthetic, just natural. Everything was created by hand, no machines, no electronic technology, just solid handmade craftsmanship. There is something about seeing a piece of art from 2000 years ago that has survived the throes of time and the careless nature of man.

Perhaps, as we get to know each other you may be lucky enough to step into my gallery and see more of the pieces I have collected over the ages and survive to tell about it. I highly doubt that if invited, you will return from Vladimir's wine cellar.
