Irish Heritage

Hallo.

I say that everyday now. My Irish heritage I love, yet I tend to hide. If you have been around me lately, you would have heard or seen it. My Irish Heritage is big for me.. I have the accent, but again try to hide it. I say tis and me for my and ye for you the most.. aye is another but I can also speak the language when I want to.

Ach nuair is mian liom, ach sílim go bhfuil sé ar cheann de na teangacha prettiest amach ann.

I talked to Sio and Liam on main chat about it, it was probably confusing for anyone who DIDNT speak Irish because most of Liam and I's talk was in Irish and part of Sio and I's. It was fun though. I dont talk Irish a lot because I dont want to be different. I realize now, Everyone is different in there own special ways. They may try and hide it, or they may embrace it. Im one of those that tries to hide it, but now, more and more Im letting it shine through.

Im Happy I talked to Sio and Liam about this. It made me understand more. Im VERY proud of my heritage, and I never doubt that one bit. Tis who I am, and always will be.
