I am now 39, which still (-- thank God --) no longer means middle-aged. Happily married, and, yes, I swoon for Edward Cullen. *winks* I am a better person for having met and known him, in any facet.

Because of Twilight, I have ventured to Washington's Olympic Peninsula half a dozen times now... and it is quite possibly my favorite place in the world. A sparkly pilgrimage first drove me to this land of mountain peaks, massive timbers and sandy ocean shores, but now I think it is Washington itself that makes me love the stories of the Twilight Saga even more.

A thousand scents of her beloved fall rushed across the land on waves of wind.

She breathed deeply, longing for the familiar smells of earth and leaves and farms and fields to be enough. But there was no kiss of salt upon her nose; no perfume of age-old cedars or hint of lavender that sweetened the air.

The sea and coast and mountains there had changed her...
