Hello! My name is Patty!

Jesus is my savior, and God is my king. I am a proud Catholic, but I'm also proud to say that I'm not overly-religious and stuffy. I go to a great teen program at my local church that practices general Christianity, so they teach the word of God through songs and our amazing pastor's stories. GOD IS AWESOME!

Obviously, I love Twilight... that's sort of a given. My Spanish teacher, who has a habit of nicknaming everyone, has nicknamed me "Vampire" *smiles* Whether that's a reference to my love of all things Twilight or the fact that I'm pathetically pale for a Latin teenage girl who lives in South Florida, I may never know.

I always try to be a good person, and am always very kind to people. I have made it a habit and normal part of my existence to say please and thank you, give compliments, reach out to others, etc. So, no, I'm not trying to impress anyone, I'm just trying to prove that chivalry is not dead, that people in this time can have manners, though, unfortunately, they are few and far between.

I have a little sister who is Autistic, so every year I raise money for Autism research. I also feel safe to come onto websites like these because of my parents; my father is a US Marshal and works as a homicide investigator, and my mom is a teacher. Which is scarier, I honestly have no idea.

I live by some key rules in life which come in all different forms...

Do what you love, and love what you do.
Be who you are and say what you feel, for those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
Live life out loud.
Dance like nobody's watching.
No regrets.
If you love something, let it go; if it comes back, it's yours forver.
Be fearless-- live in spite of the things that scare you to death.

To me, that's all it really takes to exist in happiness. I hope you all agree :)
