July 19th: The Volturi Decision on Renesmee

After a week in Volterra, Master Aro finally made a decision on Renesmee.....

 

 

Aro : *walking slowly into the throne room to take my seat as I wait*

 

Caius: *Follows Aro into the throne room and takes my seat at my throne, smirking*

 

Marcus: *hears Aro's chamber door close and I make my way down the throne room after him, taking my place and nodding to him*

 

Edward: *Walks into the throne room with Nessie, Carlisle and Bella, after being summoned by Aro, nodding once to the masters*

 

Caius: *nods with a smirk to the Cullens*

 

Renesmee: *standing next to dad - looking around the room*

 

Isabella: *sticking close to Renesmee and Edward in a protective manner*

 

Edward: *Raises an eyebrow at Caius and turns to the room* Could I ask all of you to give us a moment to speak with Aro, Caius, and Marcus.

 

Aro: *rising from my throne with a smug grin* Yes, it would be of your best interest to listen to Edward.

 

Edward: Thank you.  *looks back to Aro with a nod*

 

Aro: *gesturing everyone forward with my hand*

 

Edward: *walks forward with Nessie and Bella, looking to Carlisle from the corner of my eye, glad to have him with us* You summoned us, Aro?

 

Chelsea: *looks around the room and focuses on the humming of her heart*

 

Marcus: *sits up straighter in my throne as the Cullens approach*

 

Isabella: *shuffling forward slowly, staying silent as Edward leads us*

 

Carlisle: *stands, hands crossed in front of me surveying the situation*

 

Renesmee: *looks at Aro - annoyed that I’m here still, smiles slightly*

 

Caius: *Raises my head and looks down at the Cullens as they approach*

 

Chelsea: *raises eyes to focus on Renesmee's eyes*

 

Aro: Yes. I would like to discuss this matter on hand. I have made a decision.

 

Edward: *Narrows my eyes, hearing your decision, and glancing towards Carlisle with a whisper* Join the guard...Nessie....?

 

Isabella: *looking at Aro then back to Ness and Edward*

 

Renesmee: *looks to Aro hearing he's made a decision - listens intently*

 

Marcus: *watches as the aura of the Cullens' relationships grows brighter*

 

Aro: *turning to glance at Marcus and then to Chelsea with a nod* Chelsea please come here

 

Caius: *sneers knowing Edward is in our heads and thinks about beheading Bella here and now the thought drawing a smile to my face*

 

Edward: *Lets a growl slip through my teeth, my eyes intently trained to Caius*

 

Carlisle: *shakes my head slightly, silently conveying my 2 cents to Edward*

 

Chelsea: Yes master *steps forward*

 

Edward: *Nods at Carlisle, a slight tilt of the head, yet my eyes remain focused on Caius*

 

Caius: *smiles and nods towards Edward*

 

Chelsea: *still focused but with an uneasy tingling feeling in the pit of thy stomach*

 

Aro: *reaching for Chelsea's hand at once with a grin as I see your ties at work. Letting your hand go softly before turning* ahhh yes Renesmee, have you enjoyed your stay?

 

Renesmee: *trying to be polite as Dad asked me - nods* I won't lie the room was nice but I wouldn't say I "enjoyed" my stay.

 

Edward: *Relaxes my defensive stance, turning my attention to Renesmee and Aro* It's been difficult for her, I'm sure you understand that, Aro.

 

Isabella: *patting Ness's arm softly with a small smile at her answer*

 

Carlisle: *glances between Edward & Aro, keeping alert*

 

Aro: That is a shame.*pacing briefly before walking to stand in front of Renesmee* we did work hard on making everything perfect for you and you would be quite an addition to our family.

 

Renesmee: *looks at Aro with slight shock* Addition

 

Caius: *nods in agreement with Aro*

 

Renesmee: To your family? *mumbles* No way!

 

Edward: *Growls softly at Aro's words, his mind focused on the guard, the power she would bring* Nessie… *Places my hand on your shoulder attempting to control your anger*

 

Aro: *looking at Carlisle then back* Calm child, let me finish what I have to say.

 

Marcus: *frowns slightly as the aura of Renesmee's relationship to her parents grows stronger yet*

 

Chelsea: *still focused on her but tingling turning sour*

 

Isabella: *growling lightly*

 

Renesmee: *sighs and thinks "alright, alright Ill be good"*

 

Edward: *Stands beside Nessie, squeezing her shoulder gently* Thank you.

 

Aro: We will not keep you against your will but I would like to extend an offer for you to join our family. You should look at this as an honor dear Renesmee.

 

Marcus: *nods in agreement* Yes, child. Few are lucky enough for an invitation to join us here.

 

Caius: *thinks to self then she could help destroy her pathetic excuse for a family and lose the Cullen name for all eternity*

 

Carlisle: *starts to speak and changes my mind*

 

Edward: *Glances at Carlisle with concern, listening to each thought that comes my way as I catch Caius once again, a snarl rising*

 

Isabella: *relaxing lightly at Aro's words*

 

Edward: Aro, Nessie joining your guard is out of the question.

 

Caius: *shakes my head lightly towards Edward daring him with a look*

 

Aro: Let her answer for herself Edward. Maybe your daughter has wishes of her own.

 

Edward: *Takes a step towards Caius, my lips turned upwards in defiance* I know where she stands, Aro.

 

Chelsea: *feels the tension in room rising*

 

Renesmee: *takes a deep breath - trying to behave* While you may see it as an honor I see it as more of a . . .*gives on the nice idea* Basically, I hate being here. So I’m gonna have to say nope. I wanna go home.

 

Marcus: *eyes narrow at the child's blatant lack of respect*

 

Carlisle: *puts my hand on Edward's shoulder, slightly shaking my head*

 

Isabella: *whispering to Ness with a grin* that’s my girl

 

Caius: *looks to Aro after hearing her decision*

 

Edward: *Whips my head around, catching Carlisle's gaze and calming for the sake of my family* Have you heard enough, Aro?

 

Caius: *imagines all the heads of the Cullens hanging in my chambers and grins*

 

Aro: Hate is a strong word my child.*reaching my hand out* I'm not even sure you know what you’re turning down or what you’re saying when you mention hate. One more thing Edward*nodding towards Renesmee* I would like one touch

 

Carlisle: *sees Edward tense and places my hand on his shoulder firmly*

 

Isabella: *shaking my head as I look at Ness, worried that if she refuses he will not let her leave*

 

Edward: *Teetering between lunging at Caius, his thoughts fueling my anger, or staying close to my family, using Carlisle's thoughts to calm myself*  Keep it up Caius.  You won't win.  *looks to Aro* her thoughts will mirror her words.

 

Renesmee: *smirks walking forward* Trust me when you’re dragged to Italy against your will and deal with this kind of situation, you learn about hate. . . *holds my hand out indifferently*

 

Chelsea: *seeing tension comes forward to watch front line very carefully*

 

Edward: *Stands proudly by my family, watching Nessie' bravery*

 

Aro: *reaching for your hand with deep concentration as I witness the bonds you share with your family. The feelings you have for Jake and the will to not fight if you stay* ahh I see. Such strong bonds you have with the shape shifters and your family.

 

Caius: *rolls my eyes with what Aro said*

 

Marcus: *nods gravely as Aro's words echo the aura of relationship I feel*

 

Chelsea: *intensely focused on Nessie and feeling nerves at wits end*

 

Renesmee: *nods, "telling" you "I wanna go home. I do not want to stay at all"*

 

Edward: *nods to Aro* you should have known before you tried.  *Takes Bella's hand* Even Chelsea sees no hope.

 

Caius: *grins* Edward, they say hope never dies...neither do we.

 

Carlisle: *clears my throat* the child *gestures towards Renesmee* has been raised with solid family values. There is nothing more important to a Cullen than family.

 

Renesmee: *thinks to Dad with a smirk "I don’t like the blonde one"*

 

Aro: *pacing lightly as I take in Carlisle’s words to ponder*

 

Edward: *Raises an eyebrow* you’re going to be waiting a VERY long time, Caius.  *Grins and turns to Carlisle*

 

Carlisle: While we appreciate your hospitality and your kind gesture to take her in here in Volterra, her place is with her parents, her family

 

Edward: *Winks at Renesmee, whispering...* Neither do I.

 

Caius: *thinks we have nothing but time*

 

Renesmee: *grumbles and thinks "kind gesture... oh please"*

 

Aro: Well then I have decided. You may leave at once.*walking forward to Renesmee to whisper in her ear* your ties may not always be this strong dear one. You will be a part of this guard one day, one way or another.

 

Carlisle: *nods slightly in respect towards Aro, Caius & Marcus*

 

Marcus: *nods with a resigned look back towards Carlisle*

 

Caius: *grins and nods towards the Cullens*

 

Isabella: *glaring at Aro's words as I pull Ness close* no she will not

 

Renesmee: *smirks and touches my palm to your hand and "says"* Never! Keep dreaming!

 

Edward: *Glances at Caius with a grin, turning back to Carlisle and Aro* It is good that you have nothing but time... as time will always run in our favor.

 

Aro: *grinning* you will see little one*turning at once* Leave before I change my mind.

 

Renesmee: *growling slightly at Aro's comment - goes to open my mouth to say something*

 

Carlisle: *touches Ness's arm nodding and whispering* not the time nor place, Ness

 

Caius: *grins and raises my head* I do hope to see you all again...

 

Chelsea: *looks to masters with shame in thy eyes for not completing what was asked of the task at hand*

 

Isabella: Thank you Carlisle*glancing from you to Edward*

 

Edward: *Takes Bella by the arm, gently leading her to the door, nodding to Carlisle as he takes Renesmee* A Thank you… I suppose is in order.

 

Marcus: *stands from throne and gestures toward the guests* Thank you for visiting

 

Caius: *refuses to rise as they do not deserve my respect*

 

Aro: *nodding* the jet shall be waiting for you. Remember our offer still stands for you as well Edward and Bella

 

Edward: *Turns and bows respectfully to the Masters* If we do see each other again, I hope it is not under these same circumstances.  *Nods at Aro* we politely decline.

 

Renesmee: *sighs* Fine but grandpa *whispers* I have plenty to say to that guy

 

Carlisle: *Whispers* I know you do, Nessie… but here and now is not the time nor place

 

Carlisle: You will have plenty of time to speak your mind *winks and gestures her out the door*

 

Renesmee: *smiles and follows grandpa out the door*

 

Caius: *thinks to myself how much I wish Aro would just let us destroy them now then she would have no choice but to join*

 

Edward: *Leaves abruptly, taking Bella's hand, noting every thought, every plan, before heading to gather our things*

 

Marcus: *looks around at my family* Well, this is one battle that we have lost, for now, but at least we have peace and quiet once again...

 

Caius: *nods to Marcus* and the disgusting smell will be gone as well.

 

Isabella: *following behind Edward as his hand brings comfort to me once more. The prospect of home with Ness bringing a smile to my face*

 

Aro: *leaving the throne room at once to return to my chambers. Going over the nights events in my head*

 

Carlisle: *walks along with Nessie to Edward and Bella, breaking off and going back up to tell the news to Esme*

 

Marcus: *shrugs out of my throne and nods to the rest of my family, heading towards my room to relish in the quiet*

 

Caius: *stands out of the throne room towards my chambers*
