Letter to Charlie

Charlie,

I love you with all my heart! I want you to know that I NEVER wanted you to suffer the way you did! I watched you take your last breaths and cried as your little body slowly shut down. I could find the courage to even put in a little box that my mother prepared for you with bedding and cloth. I had my mom cover you and take care of the box but when I came into the kitchen the next morning there youwere. I started balling as I remembered the good times we had. Every time you got out you were always smart enough to stay in that same room and to never jump from anything!

We finally burried you and put you outside my window so you were close to me otherwise I couldnt sleep at all. You loved carrots and peanuts although I thought you were my little peanut. You always played with your little brother Caden but a couple times it got to rough and you hurt him bad but you still weren't a bad little boy. I still loved you with all my heart and as soon as you let me, the first human to pickyou up at the pet shop, I knew that you and Caden were MINE!

I love you Charlie!! I will never forget your little nose twitching with every sniff! Never forget that I loved you and would have done anything to save you!
