Albuquerque Comic Con

I went to Albuquerque Comic Con today. It wasn't what I expected. First of all, I was excited because of the guest list. Attending the con were Kristen Bauer (Pam in True Blood) , Gil Birmingham and Sam Trammell among other guests but they were the ones I was most excited for. Unfortunately Sam Trammell cancelled at the last minute and the con didn't know until like an hour before he was supposed to show up. I was bummed. But Kristen Bauer was awesome. She was soooo nice. Gil was cool too. I got their autographs and a pic with Kristen Bauer. I also got a pic with Brent Spiner, Data in Star Trek. I was originally going to get a pic wit Gil instead of Brent but Gil left and his photo op was cancelled, but that is okay. I still had a great time. I won a couple of raffles. I won a Luke Skywalker/Tauntaun action figure set and a Walking Dead book. I bought a Gambit from X-Men art and it came with an X-Women art for free.I bought some True Blood earrings, a Fangtasia badge, a Twilight lanyard and a couple of things for my niece and nephew. The best part was Kristen Bauer remembering me. I got her autograph in the morning and she remembered me at her photo op and her panel because I go by Pam. And I found out our Sci Fi con in October has a kickass guest list, including Tom Felton. Can't wait! But, I just hope the next one is better organized.
