I was born in 1936 and raised by my mother, as my father was off fighting in World War II, along with my brother, Sam. I never knew my brother, nor my father, as both of them were killed in combat. But I was able to move on and get through life just as well.
Then one night I was walking down the street, alone, when I tripped and ripped open my knee on the sidewalk. I was loosing blood quickly and was unable to move or anything. Luckily - or so I thought at the time - a lovely young man came by and carried me away to what I thought would be a hospital, but instead he took me to a dark ally.
The first thing I remember is waking up days later to my new life.
I am now a vampire - vegitarian since 1974. However I have been a vampire since 1952.
Why did I change my diet more than 20 years later??
Well at first I was very angry about what I had become. I didnt know what I was or what had happened - I was just thirsty.
I feasted on anything I could just trying erase the anger by feeding. But it just wasnt working.
Then one day I came across another like me, only he was different - kind and compassionate. He told me there were other ways to living then just preying on innocent humans.
Ever since then I have only enjoyed pure animal blood. And that same, generous vampire is still with me. He has become the love of my life and I could never imagine a better life.
