About three years ago if you had told me vampires and werewolves were real, I would have thought you were mental, very mental. But now.....
(back about three years ago)
My second day in Forks, I decided to go to First Beach in LaPush. I really liked it there. I continued to go there almost everyday after school. It was nice, peaceful, but I looked back into the woods and there was a massive wolf walking around. I also saw guys that seemed to tower over everyone, they all felt same too, hot, very hot.I began to think I was seeing things. I went home later that day and told my room-mate and bestfriend Sarah about what I had saw. She just nodded, I got the feeling she knew something I didn't.
The next week I was in the the Cullen's house at a party or something. I noticed they all looked the same, pale skin, golden eyes, dark circles under their eyes, and beautiful. The we're beyond beautiful, they were no words to to describe what they looked like. Every single one of them, Edward, Bella, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, Japser, Carlisle, Esme, and Nessie. I also noticed when I shook one of their hands, it was hard as rock, and colder than ice. They didn't eat anything either. I asked Sarah about them she just nodded, again I got the feeling she knew something I didn't.
I began to stay up all night thinking about these people I had seen. The people at LaPush seemed to be the complete oppisite of the Cullen's. The biggest difference I noticed was the way their skin felt, it made me shudder to touch one of the Cullens for too long and made my hand burn to touch one of these massive guys.
One day after being with Alice for a few hours I decided to go down to the beach. I sat down and I saw one of the guy's nose wrinkle and he said "Sierra, you smell". I didn't know what he meant. I sniffed my arm, I smelt fine to me. I leaned over and asked Sarah if I smelled she laughed and said "No, you smell fine!" So I just shrugged.
I finally began to figure things out, I went home and asked Sarah about it. She was shocked I hadn't figured it out yet. She told me that here, where we lived, vampires and werewolves exsited. All I could do was sit there with my mouth hanging open like an idiot. I couldn't wrap my head around it, here in this little town lived things we had heard scary stories about as little kids.
So, I'm still here because even though this town we call Forks is strange, very strange, I love it. And these werewolves and vampires have turned out to be some of my very best of friends.
