Eleazar: *looks from my work to my watch, wondering where you are. Moves from behind my desk & goes in search of you* Carmen?

Eleazar: *wanders the hallway calling for you* Carmen? *shakes my head* not again

Carmen: *listening in disgust as the miserable excuse for foster parents wave away Abbi's condition as nothing & return to the front room, growls softly to myself* Enough is enough *my mind made up I slip unnoticed back into the house, lifting Abbi gently into my arms*

Tanya: *Steps out of my room at the sound of Eleazar's voice* Ele? Everything ok?

Eleazar: *Looks up to see Tanya distracted as I have became increasingly concerned with Camren's behaviour of late* Erm Sis, have you seen Carmen?

Katrina: *hearing Ele calling for Carmen turning to Garret standing up heading out of our room to see what's going on*

Tanya: *Looks a little confused* No...not since before you hunted yesterday *glances over to Katie in concern*

Katrina: *hearing the conversation between Tanya and Ele looking to Garret worry across our faces* We haven't seen her either.

Elezar: *my brow furrowing in concern* She's just disappeared, again! She did this yesterday *shakes my head* Im worried but she wont talk to me

Tanya: Again? *frowning* I did not know she had been disappearing.... How long has this been going on?

Carmen: *slipping quietly from the house & not slowing till the cover of trees protects us, cradling you safely in my arms whispering* Abbi, wake up sweetie, *my fear increasing at the change in her breathing*

Eleazar: The last few days, *pauses* she’s been distant, distracted.. *shakes my head*

Katrina: *biting my lip having an idea of where Carmen is but keeping silent worried that something has happened*

Tanya: *Getting a little nervous since the last time she disappeared the Volturi took her* We should go find her!

Eleazar: *looks to you then Katie & Garrett * I think we should

Katrina: *hesitating not knowing what to do nodding taking Garret's hand* Maybe she's just running late, let’s wait down stairs

Tanya: *Rushes down the stairs to the living room*

Eleazar: *turns for the stairs, all sorts of thoughts washing over me*

Tanya: *Reaches the backdoor in the kitchen and pulls open it open in haste*

Eleazar: *follows urgently, my emotions going into over drive, where is she, what is she doing & ultimately is she safe*

Katrina: *follows behind with Garret in tow hoping Carmen shows up soon thinking* come on Carms where are you?

Tanya: *Turns to Eleazar with a grimace* You don’t think…the Volturi?

Carmen: *pausing in the gardens & hidden from sight & hearing the worried exchanges from within our home, I take a steadying breath & gently kiss Abbi's forehead & hug her gently to me as I approach the side entrance & quietly slip in*

Eleazar: Well where is she?! *concern floods me as I pace the kitchen* This is Not like her at all!

Katrina: *wanting to quell Ele's fears but unable to break confidence with Carmen offering up hopeful words* Maybe she just lost track of time Ele...I bet she'll be home soon

Carmen: *stands just inside the house, listening to everyone & praying my family will understand*

Eleazar: *stops mid pace, my head snaps towards the back door picking up on her scent* Carmen?! Is that you? *rushes forth in search of you*

Tanya: *Sighs in relief at the coming scent* Thank Goodness

Carmen: *freezes instantly & backs up to the wall as I hear Eleazar getting closer & prepares for the worse*

Katrina: *breathing a sigh of relief heading towards Carmen with Garret in tow thinking* I hope she has a good reason for this...

Eleazar: *stops in my tracks I as pick up a.... human scent, glares, speaking through my teeth as I eye the limp body in your arms* What is that?!

Tanya: *Raises a brow at Eleazars words and head to the other room* What’s, what?

Katrina: *hearing Ele's words rushing forward to get a better look* Oh gracious Carmen, what have you done? *worried for the family's reaction to the child*

Carmen: *takes a steadying breath* Eleazar, please *glances to Abbi in my arms* she's just a little girl & she's sick

Tanya: *Stops in the doorway at the sight* Carmen! What have you done!

Eleazar: *I can not avert my eyes from the sight in front of me, my voice grows in strength* Why is she here?!

Katrina: *staying back silent not knowing what to say holding Garret's hand as he looks at the child in shock*

Carmen: *falters* I haven't done anything Tanya, I promise, she was lost, I helped her *my words tumbling out in a rush* they don't look after her, I'm *looks back to Eleazar sadly* I'm her friend, please I'm sorry I didn't tell you

Tanya: *Pushes my way into the room and begins to pace, taking in the scent and knowing this child is still human* You cannot DO this Carm...You know what this will bring on us! *shakes my head at the thoughts flooding my mind of Sasha*

Eleazar: *stares on in disbelieve*

Tanya: Immortal children will leave us damned!! Take her back...she cannot be here! *Hisses at the sight of the small child*

Katrina: *shaking my head whispering* Oh gracious Carmen, what's have you got us into.... *not knowing what to do shocked that the child is actually here in our home*

Tanya: *rolls my eyes and begins my pacing again shaking my head and muttering* And everyone thought this was a good idea? *turns to Katie will a glare knowing she knows better*

Carmen: *growls at both of you* stop this

Katrina: *standing firm looking at Ele* I did know about it. And I trust her judgement. She's not going to endanger us. She meant no harm she is really just trying to help *keeping the details of our chat to myself*

Carmen: Thank you Katie, I'm sorry I've put you in such a position, *turns back to Eleazar & Tanya* I just want her to get the medical help she needs, she lives with the most miserable excuse for foster parents, *looks to you both* please help me

Katrina: *standing near garret looking back at him then looking to Carmen* Anything for you Sister. If I didn't trust your judgement I wouldn't have kept you secret. How do we help?

Eleazar: *I stand & watch Kate & Carmen, my tone dry* What is wrong with the child?

Tanya: *Comes a little closer to the child keeping my arms crossed and nods at Ele's question* What are the symptoms?... Either way she stays human *looks up at Carmen with a stern look*

Carmen: Thanks Katie, *looks back to Eleazar shaking my head* I don't know, she has a temperature, her breathing has changed & she just sleeps now.... all the time *glares at Tanya* I told you, I have no intention of making her immortal, how could you think so little of me?

Eleazar: *sighs heavily* We better check the internet that might offer some answers

Tanya: *Sighs and turns to sit on the couch* Not of you Carm...*Frowns* I know what its like...and Sasha never seemed the type either

Katrina: *moving over toward Carmen* She has a form of rabies *handing Ele the sheet we printed out* But it's curable, we just have to find the right medications. *trying to offer some hope Carmen knowing how worried she is*

Eleazar: *takes the print out & reads over the symptoms exhaling deeply*

Carmen: *finishes wrapping her stares at Katie in disbelief* Rabies? *looks down at Abbi in horror* But, she's so tiny & so weak *gently takes her hand in mind*

Katrina: *laying a gentle hand on Carmen's shoulder* It is, but judging from what we read it's completely curable and with the right medication she'll be back to her old self *trying to be hopeful* She'll be ok Carmen.

Eleazar: *looks over the print out again, with heavy heart* It maybe curable but it is still serious *looks to carmen knowing she is hurting already*

Tanya: *looks to Ele* what medications are needed? Does it say?

Carmen: *looks up at you both & shaking my head* How?? how could this happen, *looks back to Abbi* This is so unfair

Tanya: *Kneels down on the floor in front of Carmen* It is unfair Sister, such a young one. But we will find a cure..

Eleazar: *looks to tanya* Not really sure, I think we may need some extra help in this matter, however we need to be careful who we contact

Tanya: *Glance at Ele* But who?

Carmen: *looks to you both feeling helpless*

Eleazar: *thinks to self cant contact Carlilse, the Volturi maybe watching them. Hearing Tanya’s voice* I think *pauses*

Katrina: *settling next to Carmen offering as much comfort as I can* we know the ailment that's half the battle; we're going to get her through this I promise.

Tanya: *Creases my brow in thought* Hmm..maybe the Irish coven? Maybe Sio can help..*trails off*

Eleazar: *I look to Garrett as we both turn to Tanya * Good idea Sis, I'll call Liam & Sio now

Siobhan: *sitting on the porch swing with Liam enjoying the afternoon when my phone rings. I look and see the caller and smile* Hello?

Carmen: *nods gratefully & follows your gaze, shaking my head sadly to Tanya & whispering* I can't lose her sis, she's just so small & helpless

Liam: *Watches Sio as she answers, hearin' Eleazar's voice, I listen verra closely*

Eleazar: *Smiles nervously* Hi Sio, sorry to call out the blue *pauses* we need your help I can’t go into too much detail over the phone

Tanya: A human life is very fragile *nods at the memories in my mind* We will do everything we can sister, she will get better *takes in a breath and holding it hoping that I am right, hating to see Carmen hurt so badly*

Eleazar: Can you come to Denali, please? I wouldn't ask if it wast not urgent

Carmen: *leans over hugging Tanya tightly* Thank you sis & please forgive me for not telling you, I thought if you didn't know about our friendship, it would be safer

Eleazar: *heads back to the living room* Sio & Liam are coming, hopefully Sio can help us

Siobhan: *Looking at Liam I get up off the swing and head into the house to tell Maggie* Liam, we have to go help them. They wouldn't ask were it not important.

Eleazar: *nods exhaling deeply as the sinking feeling of anxiousness settles deep within*

Liam: *I am right behind her.* Aye, ye get Maggie and I will get yer car ready te go.

Eleazar: *watching you, the heartbreak shining upon your face, crushes me. I walk over to you my arms wrapping round as my lips kiss your cheek* We will fight this I promise

Carmen: *gently pulls you down in front me & wraps one arm tightly around your neck a dry sob building in my chest* I can't tell you how sorry I am, I could never find the words

Eleazar: *closes my eyes as your upset is clear, the reason why you couldn’t tell me* Shush now, I now understand why * holds you tightly*

Tanya: Well with that! *stands up with a grin* If we are going to have a little one in the house...i will need to hunt

Carmen: *nods & looks to Tanya* I'm so sorry sis but thank you
*turns back to Eleazar asking quietly* Can you forgive me?

Tanya: *Smiles softly at Carmen* No need to appologize anymore Carm..What is done is done.

Eleazar: *looks up to Tanya silently nodding, my attentions go back to Carmen & her anguish*
*smiles softly* Nothing to forgive, now lets concentrate on getting this little one better

Carmen: *smiles* Thank you *looks back to Abbi her tiny hand still nestled in mine*

Tanya: *Turns towards the stairs* I will return shortly..*Heads up the stairs to retrieve my shoes*
