Carmen : *eases a little water gently into Abbi's mouth, her exhausted eyes fluttering closed again, looks to my family, my hope once again floundering*
Maggie: *comes in from eth downstairs, with a porcelin bowl, and some more rags, whispering* Carm? I have more wet towels for her...
Siobhan : *sitting in the chair, watching Carmen and Abbi, wishing I could do more*
Tanya: *pacing back in forth in front of the window looking out at the falling snow stealing a glance at Carmen and the child worry etched on my face*
Eleazar: *paces the living room as I watch on helpless, my thoughts run through possible outcomes*
Carmen: *places the bowl on the floor & wrings out the wet cloth, gently laying it over Abbi's forehead, sighs* She's still so warm *gently lifts her hand, holding it to my cheek*
Liam: *Sittin' with me laptop, searchin' for anythin' I can find that might help.*
Carmen : *looks back to Maggie* Thank you, you being her has helped.
Maggie: *going over to where Sio is seated, kneeling at her side, putting a hand on her knee. Sitting silently.*
Siobhan: *patting Maggie's hand, I look at her with a sad smile, hoping Liam will find something in his search*
Tanya: *continuing to stare outside the window feeling Katie's hand on my shoulder offering a small smile knowing she understands my worry*
Eleazar: *look to my wive the distress etched across her pale darkening face, I move to her side my hands squeezing hers*
Liam: *Me eyes come across somethin' I think may help.* Rabies remedies discovered in the amazon... *I speak out loud to whoever be listenin'*
Carmen: *squeezes your hand in return, leaning into you as the feeling of despair continues to grow*
Eleazar: *my attention goes to Liam* Really? What else does it say Liam?
Tanya: *turning in unison with Katie and Garret as we hear Liam speak* What?! What was that you said Liam?
Maggie: *my head turns to the sound of Brathair's voice* The Amazon?
Liam: El, come read this, tell me what you think *I turn me laptop around to hand te him*
Eleazar: Ill be back love * kisses the top of your head before wlaking to Liam to read the report*
Maggie: *smiles up at Sio, a glimmer of hope in my chest*
Carmen: *nods, whispering* Ok *closes my eyes as I lay my head gently against Abbi's arm*
Tanya: *moving over closer to everyone with katie and garret in tow hoping against hope for some good news*
Eleazar: *my eyes scan the medical report, a feeling of hope reappears*
Siobhan: *looking at Maggie with a hopeful smile, I squeeze her hand*
Liam: *Watches El as he reads, hopin' te have found somethin' that will help the wee one.*
Eleazar: *looks up* I think maybe Kachiri & her sisters maybe able to help us * looks to Carmen* Shall I call them?
Carmen: *looks up, smiling weakly* Please *faint hope returning*
Siobhan: *looking to Liam, taking his hand in mine. I smile at him*
Eleazar: *seeing your desperation* Ill call Kachiri Right away
Tanya: *leaning against the wall watching Ele as he goes to call Kachiri hoping something good comes from this*
Eleazar: * walks to the edge of the room pulling out my phone dialling Kachiri*
Maggie: *thinking that maybe teh Amaon's have seen this kind of sickness before, maybe there is hope yet for this child, I smile brightly*
Carmen: *pleads* Please *looks back to Abbi helplessly*
Eleazar: *paces as the phone rings*
Kachiri: *hears my phone ring, setting down my book, seeing the number answering it* Hello Eleazar!
Eleazar: * urgencey lacing my voice* Kachiri forgive the lateness of my call, we need to your help
Kachiri: *frowns hearing the urgency in your voice* What is it Eleazar?
Liam: *Holdin' Sio's hand, I continue to search on the internet, just in case*
Eleazar: More specifically your expertise in on herbal remedies, I cant go into too much detail over the phone, but its urgent! We need your help, *beggingly* please ??
Kachiri: *nods as I speak* yes Ele I can help, would you like me to come up to Denali? I can be on a plane tonight
Eleazar: *sighs in reliefe as you agree* Please we would greatly appreciate you & your sisters help, see you soon *pauses* Thank you again Kachiri you have no idea how much this means to us
Carmen: *gently strokes Abbi's face her exhaustion clearly evident, as the pain at the thought of losing her continues to build*
Siobhan: *lets out the breath I was holding As I hear Ele's words. Squeezing Liam's hand, I look at Maggie with a hopeful smile*
Tanya: *listening intently to Ele's conversation leaning my head on katie's shoulder while we wait in silence hoping for the best*
Maggie: *smiling at my family, I get up going to Carmen, smiling encouragingly, I pat her back*
Kachiri: you're welcome Eleazar, let me pass word on to my sisters and I can be on a plane tonight. See you tomorrow *hangs up and heads downstairs to find Zaf and Senna*
Carmen: *smiles thankfully to Maggie* A new hope
Eleazar: *reliefe flooding through me as we have another chance to save Abbi* Kachiri is flying to Denali tonight
Maggie: *nodding* indeed! *smiling at Abbi*
Liam: Good news, verra good news. *I nod* I will keep researchin'
Tanya: *sighing with relief hearing kachiri on the other end thankful that we have a new lead *
Siobhan: *smiling brightly at Carmen* That's wonderful news, El! Maybe Kachiri can help her!
Eleazar: *moves instantly to Carmens side comfortign her once more* It is Sio, great news
Carmen: *smiles hopefully at my family & friends as I internally pray this works* Thats great news, Thank you
Tanya: *looking to Carmen offering a small smile still worried about the situation at hand but glad things are moving in a positive direction*
Eleazar: *rubs my hand up & down Carmens back to comfort her, while gently strokign Abbi's fevered cheek with my thumb as I whisper to her* You will get better little one * prays for it to be so*
Liam: *Stands takin' me laptop* Maggie, can ye come help us for a bit? I have some other things I think we can look for, just in case.
Carmen: *returns Tanya's smile & leans into Eleazar as I gently rub Abbi's tiny warm hand whispering* I hope so darling.... I hope so
Liam: *I head down the hall, Sio and Maggie with me as we go te our room and continue our research*
Maggie: *getting up from my kneeling position by Abbi* Of course, Brathair. Anything to help. *I smile as I pass Carmen, patting her shoulder*
