Eleazar: *sitting quietly in the living room reading a book unwinding from a long day*
Tanya: *Sings along with the music playing in my room as I sort through my clothes*
Carmen: *sitting curled up next to Eleazar, watching as the snow gently falls outside*
Garrett: *knows it is the perfect time to talk to the family without Katie being there, almost second guessing whether or not I should ask them. Sighs, heading to Tanya's room *knocks on the door* Tanya, can you come down stairs please. I must talk with you all
Eleazar: *wraps my arm around Carmen, pulling her in closer*
Garrett: *knocks on the door* Tanya, can you come down stairs please. I must talk with you all
tanya: *Turns the radio down* Sure Garrett..*walks over to the door opening it*
Garrett: Lets go *smiles, feeling anxious. heads down the stairs to the living room, seeing Eleazar and Carmen on the couch*
Tanya: *Watches Garrett curiously as we arrive in the livingroom, smiling to Carm and Ele*
Carmen: *looks up smiling as Tanya & Garrett enter the living room* Hey you two
Eleazar: *looking up seeing Garret and Tanya smiling nodding hello* Hey guys
Garrett: *grins nervously at you all* It seemed now the appropriate time to discuss something with you all.
Eleazar: *perking up looking at Garrett* Sure Garrett, what do you need?
Tanya: *Takes a seat on the arm of the couch folding my hands over my legs listening intently*
Carmen: *smiles confused* ok, we're all yours, shoot.
Garrett: *grins lightly, feeling I should just come out and say it, unable to help the excitement I feel* I want to marry Katrina. I wanted everyone's approval. *looks down then back at you all*
Tanya: *Staring blankly at Garrett, the words ringing in my head*
Eleazar: *smiling wide at Garrett* That's wonderful news Garrett! Of course we approve.
Carmen: *gasps slightly & jumps up beaming* Garrett, finally *hugs you* I'm so excited, Yess, yes a thousand times , yes *laughs*
Garrett: *chuckles loudly, looking at Carmen and Eleazar's reactions* Finally?
Tanya: *Stands abruptly and walks out of the room to the kitchen*
Garrett: *nodding laughing at Carmen* I think Carmen's reaction sums it up best. We couldn't be happier for you

Carmen: *laughs* Well, I'm not blind Garrett, and yes finally, *winks at Eleazar & laughs* shhh
Garrett: *looks towards the kitchen, watching Tanya escape to the kitchen, frowning slightly* Did I miss something?
Eleazar: *looking to Tanya* I'm not sure what's going on there Garrett...maybe you should talk to her?

Carmen: *catches sight of Tanya as she disappears & sighs* i'm sorry Garrett *bites my lip* I'm sure everything will be fine, as Eleazar said, just talk to her
Garrett: *smiles lightly* okay, i'll be back you two. *heads to the kitchen to see Tanya staring out the window* Tanya? Everything okay?
Eleazar: *pulling Carmen along upstairs whispering* Come on love, we'll give them some space.
Tanya: *Turns towards you with a deathly stare* I dont know Garrett, why dont you tell me? Are you sure you can handle this? *motions around the room*
Garrett: *feels taken aback* What the hell does that mean Tanya?! What, this family? Of course I can! You all are my family!
Carmen: *wrapping my hand tightly in yours, whispering* yes lets
Tanya: *Rolls my eyes* Oh..yes and the many times you have LEFT your family, what about that? I cannot trust you wont break her heart, AGAIN!
Garrett: *shakes my head* You have no idea what you are talking about. I would never, ever leave her again. I would never put her through that pain again! *growls lightly* Is it that or is it something else? Maybe you are just jealous because she has a mate.
Tanya: *Growls loudly* YOU have NO idea what I have done for THIS family..I do NOT go around leaving when I feel like it. I DONT get that luxury GARRETT!! Dont pretend you know what or HOW I feel!!
Garrett: *growls, hitting the class on the counter, watching it shatter on the floor* No, but you are the one who is too worried about yourself then your own sister! You have been with her through everything! and when she finally gets the chance to be happy, you keep her from it! You know I love her, and that she loves me! You know that!
Tanya: No! I dont know that Garrett, tell me..how many times have you left now? Hmm? Would someone do that when they are in love HUH?!
Garrett: I'm never going to leave her again! It killed me to be away from her! From EVERYONE! I might have left, but it was a living nightmare. You don't even know what happened so don't try and turn this back on me! All i want to do is spend my life with her But you obviously don't want her to be happy.
Tanya: *Shakes my head with a evil laugh* YES, and maybe you shouldnt talk about things YOU dont understand! All I want is for her happiness, Brother! *spits out the words* You would not know the first thing about sacrafice.
Garrett: The hell I do! You don't know what my life has been like since I turned! You have NO idea the things I have done! The sacrafices I have made! I gave up feeding on humans for all of you, for my love for Katie!
Tanya: *Waves my hand non-chalantly* Oh..so sorry! Giving up feeding on humans must have been sooo hard *says very sarcasitcally* When you have a better experience to compare let me know...*shakes my head and walks towards the door*
Garrett: *growls loudly, heading out the other direction and up the stairs, needing to talk to Carmen and Eleazar for advice*
Garrett: *knocks on Carmen's and Eleazar's door*
Eleazar: *hears knocking opens the door seeing Garrett is upset* Garrett? What's the problem? Did you all talk?
Carmen: *sits up frowning* Is everything ok?
Garrett: *shakes my head, still angry* She thinks I'm going to leave again...
Carmen: *instantly stands* I'm so sorry Garrett *sighs* Tanya is very protective of Katie but *takes a steadying breath & glancing to Eleazar for help*
Garrett: *nodding in agreement with Carmen* She is. Just give her a little time to cool off. She's probably very shocked and overwhelmed by it all. She'll come around.
Carmen: *smiles encouragingly* You'll see Garrett, once she's calmed down, Tanya will be fine.
Eleazar: *smiling nodding to Garrett* Anytime Garrett. Just give it a day or two. She'll come around. Always here if you need us, you know that. *smiling*
