The accident

 I didn't have a chance to walk away after she shoved my shoulder and yelled at me, accusing me of running from responsibilites like my father. The second the words rolled off her tongue I lost control, and the next thing I knew she was on the ground with blood covering her face and arm, her body seemingly lifeless.  It was like a scene from a horror movie playing out right in front of me. With one quick swipe of my paw I caused harm to the one I loved. Panic set in and I took off deep into the forest. My emotions and thoughts were all over the place, I couldn't think clearly.  Jared heard the whole thing and got help for Emily. It took days to calm down enough to phase back, and wrap my head around the whole situation.

 During that time Paul and Jared would kept me updated as to how Emily was doing, and would tell me that Emily was asking to see me. I wanted to see her, but I was afraid to. After a lot of convincing myself and the letter from Emily telling me that she didn't hold me responsible and had forgiven me,  I went to the hospital. I saw the bandages that covered her face and arm, there are no words to express how guilty I felt, and still at times feel.
