My transformation

  From what I can remember of my human life I drank as hard as I worked, and gambled all my money away as fast as I could earn it. I was quick to anger, and sure as hell never backed down from a fight. I was a little reckless I suppose you could say. However, though I didn't know it, my life was about to be changed.

One day in 1935,  I was out hunting in the woods, and was caught off guard when a bear came out of no where and attacked me. I tried to dodge the powerful hits of it's large paws, I felt the incredible pain through my whole body as it mauled me. Darkness is all I saw for what felt like forever, and then I saw her, my angel. Then everything went dark again. The next thing I vaguely remember is feeling my whole body burning, the sensation was much worse than being mauled by the bear ten times over, but I kept hearing two voices telling me that I was going to be okay, my angel, and what I thought to be the voice of God. Three days later, I opened my eyes and there she was, my angel, the beautiful voice I kept hearing. There was also a man, my angel called him Carlisle. They obviously saw the confusion in my eyes as I looked back and forth between them, they explained what had happend and what I had become. Rosalie was a bit nervous that I would hate her for asking Carlisle to change me, or that I would be unhappy as a vampire. I was grateful to her and Carlisle for saving my life. My response to that was always, and will always be, "Hell's not so bad if you get to keep an angel with you."
