My 13th Birthday!

Yesterday I turned 13 ! I thought it would never happen! My mom started to pretend to cry now that she has two 'teenaged girls' in her house! 

So yesterday was fun, birthdays around here are a big deal and we don't just celebrate on our birthdays. We kinda stretch it out so it lasts a few days! Today is my actual birthday party so my mom is in the kitchen getting things ready. A few of my friends are coming over, my cousins and aunts and uncles and we're going to celebrate with some games and cake and supper! My mom's making sloppy joes for dinner with homemade french fries ! yum!

Last night we celebrated here with my sister, her boyfriend, my mom and Quil! Everyone was so nice and I am so excited because I finally got the mermaid tail blanket I have been asking for since last year! Isn't it awesome?

When I woke up, yesterday, I found this hanging on my chair! And these on the floor next to my chair! My sister had them made for me so I wore them to school! Its pretty cool when everyone at school knows it's your birthday. I was kinda like a celebrity or something with everyone smiling and saying, "Happy Birthday, Claire!" I highly recommend you get a shirt like this for your 13th birthday too!

Quil knows me best, just look at this amazing birthday basket he got me! I love it!!! Thank you Quil!!!! <3

I'm looking forward to seeing my friends and family tonight for dinner! Birthdays are SO FUN!
