Memorial Day Weekend!

What a great time we had this weekend and even though I have school tomorrow, I'm still loving this day!

Today Quil and I made these for dessert! Mom and Connie made burgers on the grill and we had corn on the cob, a really yummy salad and then Quil and I made these awesome Watermelon Cupcakes for dessert!

I love cookouts! They are so fun and everyone stopped by to say hi, have some burgers and they brought cookies, brownies and all sorts of stuff. I dont like coleslaw or potato salad. That stuff is icky. Uncle Billy and Tiffany made homemade pickles and when Aerie took a bite she wasn't ready for how sour they are. You should have seen her face! I wish I was ready with my phone because that would be a great picture!

A lot of our elders are military veterans so we had a small parade this morning and it was nice to celebrate their service to our country. A lot of people don't understand the sacrifices that our veterans give every day with protecting our country. I am a very patriotic girl and I learned a lot about that this year in Social Studies class. Our country wouldn't be the best in the world without all of the veterans who served and protected us. My grandpa was in the Vietnam war a lot of my uncles and one of my aunts was too. I am very proud of them

I have to go. We're cleaning up from lunch and starting to make supper. Im so stuffed that Im totally not eating another thing for like 2 weeks!!
