For the first time, I feel....wicked

Just got back from the theatre! Wicked was awesome! It has always been awesome! There is nothing like seeing it live though. Videos are cool and the soundtrack is awesome..but oh man....it is well worth the money if any of you can go see it!

 

My only complaint was the sound system of the theater. The music could have been louder and the voices could have been more crisp. I think the theater needs an updated system. It sounded like it was something from the 80s or 90s.

 

Still, it was amazing. Nothing gives me chills like when Elphaba flies up during Defying Gravity.

 

I spent waaaay too much money on souveniers, but hey, when is it going to come back to Albuquerque? Probably never. I bought the limited edition snowglobe that plays "For Good", a shirt for my cousin, a magnet, two pairs of Emerald City sunglasses (one for my niece and one for my nephew) and a toddler Wicked shirt with baby flying monkeys on it for my 2 year old niece. I mainly wanted the snowglobe. I have wanted it for awhile. I saw it last time I saw the show, back in 2008, but I didn't have a job then.

 

I am soooo tempted to buy another ticket before it leaves. It leaves in two weeks.

 

And..if I decide to get another ticket...it will be an orchestra seat, if there are any left.
