Joshua and I sat down on one of thebenches along the covered walked one windy
afternoon. We just sat there with thoughts on
our heads, then, we looked at each other and
gave a smile. It seems as though we understood
each other with one simple look and answered
our questions with one simple smile. The gentle
breeze kissed our cheeks. The silence
enveloped us into our own world, as if we
were aliens from Mars observing the earthlings.
Knowing that we have each other made
us feel so comforted and so secure. . .or was it
that I alone was feeling in such a way??
Then, Trisha came striding in front of us.
Each step was like a step towards heaven. Each
movement was filled with grace; her eyes
glittered like the stars, her cheeks as rosy as a
child. . . her smile as sweet as an angel. . . yes!
For an angel she is to him.
He loves her. . . so much that he is willing
to give up his life for her. He loves her as much
as I love him. Yes! I love this man beside me
who loves that striding girl. . . It hurts to see
him in the same position as I am. . . so close yet
too close to fell the pain.
Then, he glanced at me, smiled and said;
"THERE GOES MY ANGEL, LET'S GO OR
WE'LL BE LATE FOR OUR CLASS"
He stood up, turned his back and started
to walk.
. . . I smiled, holding back the tears and
whispered, "THERE GOES MY LIFE".
