Bealtaine an mbóthar
ardú suas chun bualadh leat,
Bealtaine an ghaoth
a bheith i gcónaí ag do chúl,
Féadfaidh an ghrian
Shine te ar d'aghaidh,
Is féidir leis an bháisteach
titim go bog ar do feilds.

Agus go dtí le chéile againn arís,
Bealtaine Dia agat sa
pailme ar a lámh

 

 

Translation:

 May the road
rise up to meet you,
May the wind
be always at your back,
May the sun
shine warm upon your face,
May the rains
fall softly on your feilds

And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the
palm of his hand.
