Looking in the mirror, I notice the smooth contours of my skin. Virtually no signs of aging appearing. Time is moving on and yet, it does not show.
There is something to be said about maturing, growing and learning new things as a mature woman while still looking outwardly as though you have so much to learn and experience. As the people you interact with offer words of wisdom and advice to help you navigate this adult world. Little do they know that I could offer lifetimes of valuable advice and wisdom to even the oldest of people.
Time is beginning to limit itself here, I know that there isn’t much time left for my family and I to remain in Forks without causing scrutiny for the lack of aging we are doing. Good genetics comments will only take us so far.
So before we branch out, I take in my life here in Forks. The comfort of our home, friends and family..watching the once teenagers from Forks High growing their careers and families. Out of all of the lives our family has lived, this being the most special to us. I am truly grateful and will take every passing moment we have here left as a gift.
Love,
Alice xoxo
