This is one of my proudest creations. It is a plate. it was created for a char in the jr version of wizard of oz. the china princess. It is a fabric covered hula hoop, with gold trim around the edge. T.T that was hard to sew. poor fingers. lol. the center is sewed together in a circle to depress it, and shadowed with, lol, eyeshadow. I painted the vines and flowers. the whole plate took about five or so hours to make. It took a week to construct, as i had to walk away several times due to eye and back strain. thank god we have legs to hold things. lol. the 'hat' is in fact a tea cup, a can of white paint on a fez, edged in gold trim, with a starched pillow edging for the handle. and tissue paper whipped cream, mounted on a head band. ;D again, my greatest labur of love. i should post the whole costume sometime.
