The Volturi Questions the Cullens About Demetri

Esme: *Lingering at the top of the stairs, one eye on Alice as she sits concentrating on her visions, the other on my family gathering in the living room*


Emmett: :: Holding Rosalie's hand as I lead her to where the family is gathering::


Edward: *Heading into the Cullen house, knowing the Volturi had yet to arrive, but knowing they were getting close*


Carlisle: *Smiles at Esme from the living room, trying to reassure her*


Rosalie: *Squeezing Emmett's hand tightly, looking around as the family begin to gather*


Emmett: ::Keeping close to Rosalie, not knowing how this will end::


Carlisle: *Heads to the front door with one glance back to the family, prepared for anything*


Aro: *Moving towards the Cullens home, Renata and Felix by my side* Good to see old friends right Felix? *Chuckling to myself*


Emmett: :: Sitting straight up, my expression changing as voices approach our porch::


Edward: *Tensing as I hear their thoughts* They’re here...


Felix: *Grinning evilly as I think of what’s inside* Always wonderful to see friends master.


Esme: *Tensing up slightly sensing our visitors have arrived, glancing to Alice and Jasper at the top of the stairs*


Rosalie: *Placing my hand over Emmett's, before grimacing at a familiar scent*


Aro: *Stopping at the door and humouring the Cullens by tapping on the door* Nice and civilized


Emmett: :: Looking to Rose before gritting my teeth, willing myself to behave::


Carlisle: *Takes a deep breath and places a polite smile on my face before opening the door* Ah, Aro. To what do we owe this pleasure?


Esme: Girls. *Places a finger to my lips as the Volturi enter*


Aro: *Smiling wide at Carlisle* Well well old friend... We have much to discuss... May I? *nodding inside, knowing the others are assembled*


Edward: *Watching the Volturi carefully keeping track of their thoughts*


Carlisle: *Steps aside, waving Aro into the living room* Of course. Please...enter. Though I am not sure what it is that we need to discuss.


Rosealie: *Turning to watch Aro, Renata and Felix entering, my expression automatically and instantly turning to a glare*


Emmett: ::Glaring as I see Aro enter and then the ogre::


Felix: *Lowering my hood as I follow Master Aro inside, smiling slyly towards Rosalie* Honey I'm back home.


Aro: Oh come come Carlisle... You are the one that has the Seer no? *Looking to everyone* Well isn't this nice! a little family gathering


Esme: *whispering a warning from the stairs* Emmett.

Rosalie: *Shooting a glare to Felix, grasping tighter on Emmett's hand. Holding back what I want to say*


Carlisle: We may have Alice.. *Follows you into the living room* But we are confused as to what your situation with Demetri has to do with us.


Emmett: :: Piping up from the peanut gallery:: exactly, what would we want with one of your guards.


Esme: *Nods in agreement with Emmett and Carlisle*


Aro: *Turning ground and clasping my hands together* Now now old friend... I send my hunter to track some vampires who happen to be close by and you expect me to

believe you aren't involved when he vanishes?


Felix: *Chuckling* One of lifes many questions such as why would Rosalie still be stuck with you. Now hush and let Master Aro speak.


Carlisle: I can assure you that my family is not involved in any way, Aro. We knew nothing of your predicament until Alice saw it this morning.


Esme: *Looks to Alice as she sits deep in concentration, turning my attention back to Aro and Carlisle*


Felix: *Smiling at the humans, thinking how delicious they all smell*


Aro: Forgive me if I don't believe you... After all I know all too well you have spoken in the past of getting rid of Demetri. Even if it were a backup plan


Emmett: ::Moving closer in front of Rosalie and speaking up:: Aro we have no clue where Demetri is. Read one of us if you don't believe me.


Carlisle: *Nods* We have nothing to hide from you. *Extends my hand* See for yourself.


Felix: *Rolling my eyes* such dramatics this family.* Lowering my eyes on the blonde and back to Master Aro*


Esme: *Tenses at Carlisle's words, shaking my head no, not wanting him to be in close proximity to Aro*


Edward: *Scowling slightly and tensing at Carlisle's offer*


Aro: *Tilting my head and smiling* Well, since you offered *Reaching out and taking Carlisle's hand. My eyes searching his as his thoughts and memories flow through my mind*


Carlisle: As you can see my old friend, we have nothing to do with your missing tracker.


Emmett: ::Glancing down as I think about everything Aro must be seeing from Carlisle's life::


Esme: *Holding my breath as Aro reads Carlisle's mind*


Aro: *sighing slightly* So much has changed since those early years *Shaking my head slightly* You know something about our missing hunter Carlisle


Felix: *Raising an eyebrow* Of course they know.


Carlisle: *Releases Aro's hand* Much has changed, but I am still the same person you have always known me to be. We have not interfered with you family. We only know what Alice has seen.


Felix: *Feeling angry and letting loose a growl* where is demetri?


Aro: *sighing, obviously disappointed that you had no connection to his disappearence.* But you know something... And I want to know EVERYTHING


Esme: *Glances at Felix in surprise* We don't know.


Emmett: :: Scoffing with a small chuckle:: Someone must miss his boyfriend but like we said. We do not know.


Esme: Emmett. Not now. *Looks back to Alice*


Rosalie: *Looking to Emmett with wide eyes, trying to suppress the laugh, before smacking your arm lightly*


Felix: Boyfriend. Very funny. Not what the lovely Rosalie was saying my last visit.* pursing my lips together to return my attention back to the matter at hand*


Carlisle: *Motions to Alice at the top of the stairs* After seeing your arrival, Alice looked into Demetri's future. She has only seen him being held captive with dark eyes, and thirst. The coven responsible has been torturing your tracker.


Emmett: :: Huffing as I sit back, ready to snap someone’s head off:: So you see Aro, maybe you should spend your time and resources looking elsewhere.


Aro: Perhaps then you will humour me? *moving to the bottom of the stairs and holding out my hands to Alice*


Felix: * Looking around the room and smiling to Esme* such inviting smells in this home. My mouth could drool for days.


Esme: *Holding Jasper back as Alice descends the stairs, placing her hand easily into Aro's*


Aro: *Looking to Felix and chuckling* Perhaps you should pick one out for our dear hunter...


Esme: *Smiling slightly to Felix* We have manners in this house. It would be wise to show some please.


Carlisle: *Moves to Esme and Jasper side, looking back at Aro and Alice*


Aro: *Taking hold of Alice's hands, seeing what she has seen of Demetri in my mind. A concerned sigh escaping my lips.* I have said it once and I will say it again... You would make a fine addition to the guard


Esme: I don't think so. *Wraps my arm around Alice's waist as she moves back to my side*


Felix: * Frowning as I look to Aro, being replaced crossing my mind.*


Rosalie: *Holding back a growl*


Carlisle: Are you satisfied my friend? *Looks to Aro*


Felix: Danielle I eat toddlers for breakfast. Remember that. *hushing as I turn back*


Aro: *Looking to Carlisle, releasing Alice's hands* I will not until my hunter is returned to me dear friend


Emmett: So what do you want us to do about this Aro? ::calming for once as I ignore the other guard::


Edward: *Looking to Danielle and shaking my head*


Carlisle: *Turns to my family knowing the only way to rid ourselves of the Volturi is to aid them in their search, scanning their faces*


Carlisle: *Nods along with emmett's words* Now that you know we had nothing to do with this, what is it that you want from us?


Felix: * Staying silent as I listen, wanting nothing more to retrieve Demetri and return back to Italy. Maybe with another person in hand though. My eyes scanning the room and resting back*


Aro: Well I can put this simply friends... If Demetri is not found there will be consequences


Esme: For us? We've not done anything wrong Aro.


Emmett: Black mailing us into helping you? ::scoffing:: such a high master you are.


Rosalie: *Sitting upright, shaking my head*


Felix: Hush now! *Stepping forward*


Carlisle: *Holds my hands up to silence the family somewhat* Aro, if this coven Demetri was tracking is the same coven we have been watching, we may be able to resolve this matter. *Sighs as I look to the family*


Aro: *Laughing musically* Now you have the means to help... Your Seer has seen more than we knew. If you were to hold back such gifts and it costs me my hunter well... *trails off*


Emmett: ::Pulling out my phone to tweet, just deciding to go along with whatever Carlisle decides. Quickly placing my phone away after::


Carlisle: *Tilts my head* Ah, I see. *Looks to Esme noticing her concern* I thought you better than that old friend, but if that is our choice then we will aide you in your endeavors.


Esme: *Whispers* No Carlisle...


Emmett: Can't believe we are helping you.::shaking my head in disgust::


Rosalie: What? *Looking to Carlisle with shock*


Felix: You heard him Pretty. More time with us. *Lifting the hood on my cloak back up*


Carlisle: It's alright, Esme and Rose. If Alice can track down the whereabouts of this coven it will benefit us all. *Thinks to Edward - They will leave, and have no quarrel with us* I expect civility Aro. Nothing more.


Edward: *Looking to Carlisle and nodding slightly, knowing that Aro's intentions were purely in finding Demetri*


Emmett: Felix one more word to her and one missing guard will be the least of your worries. ::Shutting up as I listen to Carlisle::


Esme: *Glancing to Emmet in approval, smiling slightly*


Aro: Now now... Have I not been civil? I have tried your strange human mimicking ways. Strange though they are *Looking to Felix* Come now Felix, don't rile our dear 'friends'


Felix: *Walking towards the door but not before speaking once more* Rosalie, I do believe you owe me a date. I will be patrolling your grounds later if you care to join.


Carlisle: *Smiles politely once again for appearance sakes* Civil in your own way, Aro. We will help as we can.


Rosalie: *Running my thumb over Emmetts knuckle to keep him calm* I will be declining your offer Felix.


Esme: *Sighing in reluctance as Alice goes back to concentrating on her visions, Jasper leading her away*


Aro: Splendid! *Clapping my hands together* Isnt it nice when things all work out?


Emmett: ::Blowing out unnecessary air as Rosalie's thumb dances across my knuckle.:: I will behave.


Carlisle: *Nods to Aro* As long as this will ensure my family’s safety.


Felix: *Holding back to wait on Aro, always watching for his safety*


Aro: Well then we have much to discuss and discover then don't we? What a fun journey this shall be


Carlisle: I trust this means you will be staying close? I must ask that you and your guard not feed in the area. *Pauses, knowing you hold the law in high regard* For exposure sake of course.


Aro: *Chuckling at your request* Well since you have been so hospitable we will dine as far as we can... After all you know what I am like regarding rules


Felix: Such a shame. Wonderful scents surrounding this home.


Carlisle: *Laughs slightly to ease the tension* I will hold you to that. We will let you know once Alice has narrowed down the location of this coven.


Esme: *Glances to Felix, shaking my head*


Aro: *Nodding to Carlisle* Good, we will return later to check on progress... *looking to Felix and Renata* I think we are done here


Carlisle: *Stands aside and motions to the door, in a hurry for them to free of our home*


Felix: *Nodding as you turn, Ready to follow you out*


Esme: *Clutches Carlisle's hand, unsure of what to say in this moment, only wanting my family to be safe*


Aro: Adios my friends... Have a pleasant day *smiling as I depart, Renata at my side*


Felix: *Following behind but turning once more to wink at Rosalie before departing*


Carlisle: *Lets out a heavy sigh as they leave and squeezes Esme's hand* I'm sorry. I thought it was the only way everyone. If we help them, they will leave us in peace. *Looks to Edward* Thank you. I hope that remains true.


Rosalie: *Glaring at Felix, clutching Emmett's hand and listening to Carlisle and Edward*


Edward: ¨*looking to the stairs* As long as Demetri gets found we will all be fine...


Carlisle: *Nods to Edward* Let us hope Alice can find him.
