Hello dear friend. It is time I turn again to you to sort out what is going on.

The time has come for me to go back to work. Aerie is 15 weeks old, although since she was 8 weeks premature, she is developmentally at about 7 weeks. She had a check up Friday and weighs 9.9 pounds and is 15.9 inches long. She is growing and healthy and I cannot be happier or prouder. Billy too. I think this year we will have a lot to be thankful for at the holidays.

 

Rebecca and Leo seem to be adapting to life in LaPush very well. I know it makes Billy happy to have her home again. Jacob and Renesmee are settling in to the newly married life. Paul, Rachel and Mak are doing well, and Embry is busy with the store and Caroline and his life. Things, for once, seem to be normal in my life.

 

I will go back to work on the overnight shift, mainly because it is the hardest shift to fill, especially in the fall and winter months. This way, Billy won’t have to worry as much about feeding her. She sleeps most of the night now as it is. I will have Lizzie to help during the day as well, so I won’t have to worry about day care. The time is right. Besides, we need me to be back to work. Heating bills will be more as the weather turns a little cooler. On the plus side, food bills shouldn’t be as much with Jacob and Ness on their own now. Not to say we won’t have them to dinner as well as others, but it is a little relief.

 

I am still trying to come up with a gift for Billy for our first anniversary. This first year has been an absolute whirlwind, and I cannot believe it has been a year since we were married in the family room at the hospital. Hopefully, I can give him a more memorable 1^st anniversary.

 

Who would have thought my life would have come to this, with the start I had. You, my old friend, have seen the best and the worst, and you have kept my secrets faithfully. When I had no one to talk to, I had you to share. I am so happy that the news I share here today is all good.
