Before I could easily look into your eyes
And swell inside from love and adoration your gaze
filled me eternally with
But as I gaze into them now I see nothing but hate
Pain
Sorrow
Regret
Most importantly I see a mask upon your face
Which I don't recongnize
I blink and the facade dissapears
Like a mist being blown away from a summer breeze
uncovering the crisp
Sharp winter air that blows full contact in your direction
A shudder escapes from my mind to my body
Forming goose bumps entailing all the speed bumps
Our lives have been through
As is if you know why I have goose bumps you flash a quick smile
Dashingly beautiful and reassuring
But I know better now
It's only to draw you in to the pool of lies
An ocean of lives
Which will try to make you feel better
And loose track of focus
But I don't want what we used to be
Because what we used to be was a pile of lies
Morally I don't like lies
I take a step back
Pivot around and walk onto a path
Which leads on to more truth and less hurt
A path away from you....
Ok happy now Lindz I'm done with the poem now ;P
