Growing up is hard to do

Turning my iPod and playing some soft classical music, I pull the journal closer that Carlisle gave me to keep track of the signs that my final growth spurt is just around the corner.

25th February 2013

This week was a bad one, my cramps and pains are definitely getting worse. I am so relieved that Jake had night patrols this week. Reason being that he will probably want to guard me 24/7 and not allow me to do anything.

It seems that the worse cramps and pains…

I have no words to describe the pain that I have felt in my heart. Watching what Leah has had to suffer and never truly being able to help her, other than being there for her, it broke my heart... plain and simple it broke my heart. Honestly though? I know it was never enough... all of our late night or all night talks, it was a band-aid solution at best. Don't misunderstand me, Lee and I have always had a great relationship and we have been there for each other through the very best and the…

An Angels Embrace

Softer than a summer breeze, with a touch like no other.

With a brilliance so blinding, each feathers caress so tender, so soft.

The warmth and reassurance of such an embrace, no words could describe.

It could only be heaven sent... Those are the wings of an Angel.

I knew from the moment our eyes met, from the first touch of our finger tips.…

Taking for granted?

We tend to take for granted the presence of the people we love around us. A good example: when we are kids, we don’t hesitate to tell our parents how much we love them. The older we get, the less we tend to tell them how much we care about them, especially in our teenage years. If someone gets bullied or harassed by his or her peers as a kid, that person may tend to close on themselves more. When I got my friend’s call about her father heading to the ER and being hospitalised, remembering…

There is always a first

There are a lot of first times in a person’s life and each of them are full of wonderful memories , ones we want to hold on to for the rest of our lives and in my case it’s not the exception.

And here are just some of those wonderful memories:

The first time the love of your life tells you “I love you”, is the most wonderful sensation you can ever experience, they say that the only I love you that will ever count and make you feel like you are swept of your feet and feel…

Revealing the Truth

I took things slow with Kim.  After the first few days and finding out she wanted to be with me made taking it slow easier.  And it was easier.  I didn't have the struggle like Sam did to be near Kim, to spend time with her.  And after getting past the first date things did get easier.  More I guess you could say comfortable.  Eventually we were officially dating.   There was a certain security I felt in having that…

My First Gift To Carlisle

The first time I was able to help Carlisle celebrate his birthday was not long after we had been married. I hadn’t been with him and Edward for long, but I had observed and learned some of his habits. When the time came around to get him a gift, I knew exactly what to get him.

He would spend hours outdoors, walking or sitting, taking in the beauty of nature. I know he spent time thinking about his patients, thinking about what he had become, what he wanted yet to be. I also…

The First Date

It felt like the day was dragging on.  I wanted to talk to Kim so badly.  My nerves were getting to me, but there was no way I was going to leave the school without talking to her.  I had a plan in my head for what I was going to say, but plans don't always as you plan them.

Finally the bell rang.  I made sure I moved before Kim could.  I…
