Christmas Remember those who Serve

Another Christmas has come, another year is ending. As we sit comfortably in our homes all warm, and with cheer, Please remember those who can not this year. Can not be home, or home with family and friends. This is the time we celebrate with those we love, but many can not. Remember those service members who fight for us, our freedom, and our way of life. We may not agree with why they are in certain places, we may want to…

A Year in Review

It has been almost exactly one year since I posted. For that I apologize. As stated in my message and my update, this year has been a roller coaster of a ride that is for sure. Husband did return to me and to his family. All were joyed to finally have him as safe as he can possible be here. Within three months we headed to the Bahamas. We had a great time exploring and experiencing something different. We then went to…

Another Christmas in Volterra

I remember last Christmas as if it happened yesterday.  The absence of my brother was so surreal, it was hard for me to handle.  For centuries, even back when we were both human, we had always spent Christmas together.  We used to be inseparable until he had departed from the castle and went on his "search for himself."  Last Christmas is one that I will never forget because for once in my life, I felt true loss.  When my mother and father died, I felt no loss.  They deserved what they got…

My Christmas Wish.

Like most children growing up, I would sit down before christmas and write my "Dear Santa" letter, outlining how I had been on my best behaviour that year and because I had been such a good girl, "Santa could I possibly have the following....". And now this year with Christmas day fast approaching and my own children well past their own "Dear Santa" letter days, I find myself writing not a letter to Santa but a Christmas wish in my journal.

"My Christmas Wish....

That each of…

Once upon All Hallows Eve...

Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen,

Voices whisper in the trees, "Tonight is Halloween!"

~Dexter Kozen

With the rising of the moon and the setting of the sun,

Best be on your guard now... as Halloween's just begun.

With the snap of a twig and the hoot of an owl,

Is that a child playing trick-or-treat..... or something more foul.

Everyone knows that it's just for a laugh,

but just to be safe.... better stick to the…

Eleazars Baby

Thirty two days ago, I killed my husbands baby... when it comes down to it...there is really no other way to say it. His immaculate silver Audi R8 Spyder was forced from the road one typical wet Forks morning. Granted... there was an oncoming logging truck, in an out of control sideways slide that was taking every available inch of road. The likelihood of Katie & I walking away without raising serious suspicion was extremely low.... and therefore I made the only decision I could at the…

‎'Tis the season!!Twenty ways to confuse Santa Claus

1. Instead of milk and cookies, leave him a salad, and a note explaining that you think he could stand to lose a few pounds.

2. While he's in the house, go find his sleigh and write him a speeding ticket.

3. Leave him a note, explaining that you've gone away for the holidays. Ask if he would mind watering your plants.

...

4. While he's in the house, replace all his reindeer with exact replicas.…

Random Jokes

Every once in a while ya just gotta laugh. So read, laugh and share if you wish!!

A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is

leaning against the headboard smoking a cigarette, with

a satisfied smile on its face. The egg, looking a bit

ticked off, grabs the sheet, rolls over, and says,

"Well,…

Cows in a Pasture

My guests arrived roughly around 10pm, as is customary for dinner in europe, for a lavishly prepared and catered feast by the finest restaurant in town. Everything was cooked perfectly to Mr Tavik Dolejs's liking. They were served in the finest china and crystal stemware. Only the very finest money can buy. Vladimir came through with a case of some of the finest wine vintage 1992. Although it doesn't seem that drastically long ago, the weather was ideal in Tuscany and the grape gods…

Thanks Giving

We always tend to take for granted the things the little things in life that we constantly have around. There’s a lot to be thankful for in life but none of us really ever take the time to appreciate it fully until it’s too late. Our friends, our family, even the simple things like being alive and healthy among our loved ones.

Growing up without a father around has never truly been easy and I used to resent life a bit because of this, asking myself why it happened to me. What happened…

Giving thanks for a Mothers love.

The year is drawing to a close and with it comes cold days and rainy nights. Soon all the windows of houses and shops are filled with bright colors and flickering lights. Harvest time is celebrated and for a while we get to think about all that we are thankful for. The people and things that make us smile and say, I am happy to be alive.

As I was helping the ladies in La Push get ready for the Harvest Festival, I would listen to them and all the things they felt so thankful for. That…

Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Wednesday 7th, December 1941

I remember it well. The news hit us fast and we were all in a state of disbelief. Was this a joke? A mistake? Surely we weren’t so vulnerable that they could just sneak in, destroy the entire fleet and get out before we knew what hit us.

It was no joke. The Japanese had launched a full out attack on our…

Without You I am an Incomplete Man in Need of Wholeness

Darling Esme,

I have existed for a long time not answering to anyone, dependent on nothing and committed to only myself. During that time, I felt as though the world was mine for the taking and truly believed that I was experiencing life to the fullest. Then, you came along and all of a sudden, I realized that was all a clever facade.

My love, without you I am an incomplete man in search of wholeness. I find that my existence was not all that I thought it was. In fact,…

Being a mother

Never in my entire existence up until now did I ever think that I would change the day I become a mother...  almost 3 years ago my first daughter was born and now my second is almost 6 months old and boy has time changed!

I think though even though my children are biologically mine, I can most certainly see how mothers such as Sue Clearwater, Esme and Bella  Cullen and Sulphicia and Athena Volturi can feel the way they do about their "children".  Being a mother makes you see…

Thankful for Life

I am thankful for so many things, starting with life, it's most precious gift of all, without it I would not have the most wonderful and perfect people in the world to share it with, My wonderful husband Sam Uley and my wonderful amazing little princess Ayasha.

I am thankful for love ,because without it Sam and I would not be as happy as we are and would not have our precious Ayasha in our lives, some say that we are together because of the imprint, that it's the reason we are bound…
