I met my beautiful wife, Athenodora, during my time with the Romanian Coven. She is the only thing worth savoring from that time in my life. My everything. My pearl among swine. Nowadays, I'm busy keeping order in Volterra and elsewhere alongside my brothers in arms, Aro and Marcus, as a co-leader of the Volturi Coven.
I have a keen interest in history and ancient war tactics. Methods of torture, macabre mysteries, and mystical texts are also worthy subjects of study. I also enjoy friendly debates with my brothers on various topics. We often do not agree. Human “advancements” in technology do not capture my interest. I prefer classical art and music, and I have very particular tastes.
Werewolves are the most foul creatures in existence and eliminating every one of them is a goal I aspire to in my lifetime. Traitors, lawbreakers, and dissidents deserve the cruelest form of punishment.
When I'm not savoring just destruction, I can be found reading, with my wife, or alone in my study, pondering my next move and taking care of Volturi business.
I am beginning to feel like a stranger in my own home. Managing my hatred toward the Cullen Coven's ways is more difficult than I thought it would be. I have much respect for Master Aro's confidence in his plan to sway them to our side, but my suspicions of them are definitely justified. I do not forget easily and I only forgive when forced to.
